Last week was something else. Frank and Kim went to Jail for panhandling, of all things.They couldn,t wait for me to get up to get a pack of cigarettes. This time they had to sit it out.
Kim went today and put in some job applications. She is suppose to go today for one interview and tomorrow for another one. I sure hope something works out but am really afraid to hope.Frank gets out of jail tonight. I really hope this was an eye opener for them.
Mom gets to come home tomorrow. She is really excited about it. I pray we can take care of her. Maybe if everyone will pitch in it won,t be too hard on everyone.

Happy Birthday Roger
Its just a walk into the past for me.Tomorrow, you would be 46 years old, if you were still with us. You will be with me , just as you are everyday. Not a day passes that I don't think of you and remember something you said or did. We had some good times and a few rough ones but God is good and we made it thru. It has been hard with you gone , but I know you know how much we love you. Happy Birthday Son!!
Mom is still in the hospital. Her blood pressure is coming up slowly. I hope the doctors make sure she's well before they let her come home.
We are still fighting the crud here. Beth and I can't seem to shake it. We feel better for a few days and then we feel rotten again. The cough seems to hang on no matter what I try. Maybe by Thanksgiving it will be gone,lol.
Well I decided to do a load of laundry before bed and they are ready for the dryer, so I'm gone. Be good to each other and say I love you often. It's important.God be with you.

What A Day
Things around here have been hectic these last couple of days. Kim has a bladder infection or something and wouldn't go to the doctor because no none could go with her. The next door neighbor took her a few minutes ago. she doesn't have anyone to care for so she could stay with her.
Beth hasn't felt real good today but its nothing serious.She's anxious to see what her eye doctor has to say when we go in Fri. She isn"t having any trouble this time so we are really optimistic.(big word, huh lol)I got to keep Daisy while Lou Ann went to the doctor yesterday. She had hurt her back somehow. I don't get to see her alot anymore. I sure miss her pop in visits.
I have to go do Mom's drops and help her get to bed. She is getting stronger and can do some things for herself now and that really helps.
I pray God will watch over all my family and help the to care more for each other. I pray too that he will be with Beth and keep her strong. She has had a hard battle this time and never once faltered in her faith in our Savior. I wish I were stronger. God bless you all.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
New Year's eve was very quiet around here. Beth went to Bobbie's for the night and Edward went to bed early. A sure sign of old age if I ever saw one. I got to spend part of night with my #1 daughter(on the phone) but thats o.k. til we can do better.
I haven't heard from Frank and Kim since early yesterday. I pray they are o.k. I don't like what goes on but I don't get a vote in their choice of entertainment.
Mom is doing better.I cooked dinner for her and Don and took it over there. She wanted to go to bed early,so I got her to bed about 5:00. She watched t.v. for a while and was asleep when I checked a few minetes ago.
Beth's eye is doing better. We go back to the doctor Thurs. I hope the news is good.She's worried about school starting and her not being able to see well enough to get around. I think it will be better by the time school starts again. God is with her and we know He will take care of her.
It's 11:30 and I have to get up early so I calling this a night. God bless my family in the new year, help us to stay healthy and strong in our belief in God.

Merry Christmas
This has been a real good day. Good food, good friends and family. Who could ask for more? It was so good to talk to Patty. I'm glad Aaron got to come home for the holidays and be with his family.
Frank and Kim have been gone all day. I'm sorry they were gone at lunch time. They really missed a great lunch. We had turkey, dressing, ham, pea salad,Jello salad, potato salad and rolls. Beth baked one of her cakes(pralines and cream), apple and cherry pies.
Mom is feeling better. She went to Ralph's for dinner today and had a good time.She has to use a walker to get around and is still getting use to that. She don't move around a lot because she's afraid of falling. I do alot of running from her apt. to mine but I don't mind.
Well it's getting late and my eyelids are getting heavy so I'm going to bed.(My favorite son-in-law would say that goes with old age.) God be with my family and keep them safe. I love you all.

A long day
Beth had her eye surgery today. I am so glad it's over, for her and for me.We had both really been dreading it. The thought of it was really scary and she was concerned because it was her good eye they were operating on. She said it was strange to talk to the doctor and nurses in the o.r. while you are having a procudure done. We go back to the dr. tomorrow so they can check her.
I talked to Patty after we got home. It's hard to remember everything you want to say in a few minutes. Mostly, I LOVE YOU!!
Mom had a CAT scan done today. I don't know why, but I'm sure the drs. want to check her over good before she comes home. We will probably know the outcome tomorrow.
She might get to come home tomorrow also.
Well it's time for the last drop of the night, then we can go to bed. I want to thank God for answering our prayers and everyone who remembered Beth and Mom in their prayers. God be with you all.

Another Day
Everything is about the same.I'm worried about Mom. She just don't seem to be getting her strength back like she should.Today she has stayed in bed all day and complains of being light headed sometimes.We put a call in to her Doctor but didn't hear back. I'll call again early in the morn.
Beth has finals tomorrow and Thurs. I'll be glad when they are over and she can take it easy for a few days We haven't done any Christmas shopping yet either.
I talked to Veronica the other day. She's back in Dallas.I hope everything goes well for her. That is a friendship I really miss.
I've got to go so Beth can study some more. God be with all my family and keep them safe.HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my favorist son in law of all. Good night......
